In August of 2008, Kingsway Real Estate Brokerage was opened (under MaxCom Realty) by Akbar Zareh, a former Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Realty One.
In January of 2009, the MaxCom name was officially changed to Kingsway Real Estate Brokerage.
At Kingsway, we have a team of experienced and competent professionals who manage office operations. We are adding more members to our management team as we continue to grow larger to serve our agents.
Akbar Zareh, the founder and the Broker/Owner of Kingsway, has been in business for over 19 successful years. Akbar started his career with Royal LePage, and in 1990 he joined the RE/MAX organization. Akbar owned and managed RE/MAX Realty One with three branches – two in Mississauga and one in Markham with over 100 agents. As an agent, Akbar won numerous awards including TOP 10 agent in Canada and TOP 75 Worldwide in 2004 with his former company.
Akbar’s true purpose is recruiting and training. He provides outstanding training by sharing his secrets and teaching agents exactly what he does to be a top producing real estate agent.
Janice Etzler manages the accounting and finance department. She has over 10 years real estate accounting and finance experience. She is passionate and dedicated to her job, and is always available to help her agents. Janice spends a portion of every day committed to payroll. That means if an agent has a deal that day, she works to get them paid the same day.
Lang Vuong is the Office Manager. Aside from daily operations, he also helps agents harness the power of the internet and websites to get consistent and qualified online leads. Lang holds regular internet training sessions as well as consults on real estate technology issues that affect every agent in today’s high-tech world.
Habib Ramzan is the Broker of Record. Habib has years of experience, having formerly owned a Homelife franchise and having previous associations with Sutton Group and RE/MAX. Habib has a tremendous foreign investor network. He is responsible for our offices in Dubai, Pakistan and Iran.
Tara Doobay-Pallingayan is our Senior Office Administrator. She has years of executive administration experience, and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Kingsway Real Estate Brokerage. She is a licenced realtor and also assistant to Akbar Zareh.
